Hydrocarbon Monitoring (OIL-Station/Wader, UV AquaTracka)
Systems to choose from include:
The OIL-Station & Oil Station Pro provides process engineers and site managers with real-time measurements of dissolved Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH). The OIL-Station comprises a CTG UviLux fluorometer and a Watchkeeper wall mounted data display and logger. CTG’s UviLux fluorometers detect UV fluorescence with industry-leading sensitivity and selectivity & have been optimised for minimal interference from water turbidity.
The OIL-Wader and OIL-Wader Pro systems provide surveyors and regulators with real-time in situ measurement of dissolved Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH). The OIL-Wader comprises a CTG UviLux fluorometer and a Hawk handheld display and logging unit. CTG’s UviLux fluorometers detect UV fluorescence with industry-leading sensitivity and selectivity and have been optimised for minimal interference from water turbidity.
UV AquaTracka: Submersible fluorometer to monitor the concentration of hydrocarbons in a wide range of environmental & process control applications. UV AquaTracka detects UV fluorescence. When dissolved compounds that are of a fluorescent nature absorb UV light they re-emit a fraction of this energy as fluorescence at longer wavelengths. Fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to concentration.
Subsea Pipeline Leak Detection: Finds leaks by sensing the fluorescence of leaking hydrocarbons or, for pipeline commissioning, by introducing fluorescent dyes (such as Rhodamine, Fluorescein or Agma). This system provides both offshore pipeline commissioners and project engineers a highly sensitive detection system which allows quick location of leaks within subsea structures.
